build something beautiful | birthday giveaway [updated]

Happy February! I'm super excited about this weekend. Why? Well, Saturday is my best friend's Bachelorette weekend which I am co-planning with another lovely bridesmaid. And Sunday is my 26th birthday! As of Sunday I will officially be closer to 30 than to 20. Yikes, right?

Well I'm not going to focus on that right now. What I am going to focus on is spreading the birthday love to my readers! As you may or may not know, I am proud to be a Brand Ambassador for the new online clothing boutique Trends That M.E.N.D. And this isn't just your ordinary online shopping experience. Trends That M.E.N.D. helps support communities in need by donating a percentage of every clothing purchase to one of our non-profit partners! As if that wasn't wonderful enough, to help me celebrate my birthday, Trends That M.E.N.D. is letting me give away one of their amazing graphic tees to one lucky reader!

There are seven t-shirt designs created exclusively for Trends That M.E.N.D. Each one of them is so awesome, but I'm  loving the "Build Something Beautiful" tee. Not only is the message powerful, but shirts are SO comfortable (and sweatshop free!). Plus, they look great on both men and women. OK, let's get to the fun part...

  2. When I was five years old, my mom baked me this huge chocolate cake and wrote the number 5 really big in the middle. When they were about to cut it I informed everyone present that I wanted "THE WHoooooooooLE FIVE." It was pretty funny.
